What is conferral consideration form?

This Conferral Consideration Form serves as the official entry point for invited brands to be reviewed under the Peoples’ Choice recognition programme. It collects essential information required for our Secretariat and independent panel to conduct eligibility checks and validation assessments.

What will happen next after the submission of this form?

You will receive an automated email within 10 minutes detailing the next steps. An eligibility check will be conducted by the Secretariat, followed by a formal audit and verification process. A minimal administrative fee is required to proceed. Upon successful validation, your brand will be officially invited to the prestigious Conferment Ceremony.

Why do we conduct eligibility checks?

Peoples’ Choice is a trusted mark of true excellence, earned through genuine value, reliability, and distinction. Each conferment undergoes a rigorous eligibility and validation process by our Secretariat and independent panel to ensure fairness and integrity.

Only brands that demonstrate verified excellence, ethical conduct, and lasting consumer trust are honoured with this prestigious title, protecting its exclusivity and credibility worldwide.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Peoples’ Choice different from other awards?

Unlike traditional awards judged by panels or committees, Peoples’ Choice is powered by public trust. Every recognition is earned through the confidence, satisfaction, and endorsement of real customers, not through sponsorship or influence.

How does a brand become eligible?

To be eligible, a brand must first meet the minimum requirements outlined by the Secretariat. This ensures that only credible, well-established, and trusted brands are considered for recognition under the Peoples’ Choice programme.

Can international brands participate?

Yes. The programme welcomes both regional and global brands that serve customers within the participating markets. Recognition is based on verified local presence, reputation, and authentic customer sentiment.

How are recipients selected?

Selections are based on a blend of public sentiment, customer engagement, and brand credibility checks. The Secretariat and independent reviewers ensure that every conferral is fair, transparent, and genuinely reflective of consumer trust.

What are the benefits of being recognised?

Honourees receive the official Peoples’ Choice endorsement mark, a distinguished symbol of genuine consumer trust. Recognised brands are also featured in media publications, official ceremonies, and digital listings, strengthening their public visibility and credibility. Receiving the Peoples’ Choice mark signifies to the public that your brand is endorsed by real customers and admired for its authenticity, reliability, and excellence.

How long does the recognition remain valid?

Each conferral remains valid for 12 months from the date of announcement. Brands may renew their recognition annually through the Continuous Endorsement Review, ensuring sustained credibility.

Is there any fee involved?

There is no fee for initial eligibility consideration. Upon successful verification and advancement to the audit and conferral stages, a modest administrative fee may apply to support independent validation, due diligence, and formal documentation. Additional provisions may apply for the authorised use of the Peoples’ Choice trademark and official media representation in connection with the recognition.

Can a brand lose its Peoples’ Choice status?

Yes. Integrity is paramount. Brands found to have violated ethical standards, misrepresented data, or lost consumer trust may have their recognition suspended or revoked by the Secretariat.

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all matters related to participation, nomination, conferment, publication, and attendance in connection with the Peoples’ Choice Recognition Programme (“Programme”), which is organised and administered by Global Brand Awards Pte. Ltd. (“Organiser”). By submitting a nomination, participating in the conferment, attending the awards gala, or engaging in any related activity, each individual or entity (“Entrant”, “Nominee”, “Recipient”, or “Participant”) agrees to be bound by these Terms in full.

Eligibility
The Programme is open to all legally registered businesses, brands, or organisations operating in any part of the world. Each Entrant must have active customers, products, or services available in the market at the time of nomination. Entrants are also required to maintain a verifiable business presence, which may include an official website, social media profile, or registered office address. The Organiser reserves the right to reject any nomination that is incomplete, unverifiable, or inconsistent with the Programme’s principles of authenticity, transparency, and integrity. Franchises, distributors, or subsidiaries must obtain prior written consent from their parent company or brand headquarters before submitting a nomination.

Nomination Process
Nominations may be submitted directly by the brand, by an authorised representative, or through the Secretariat upon recommendation. The Organiser may, at its discretion, request supporting documentation such as business registration certificates, product information, client testimonials, or any other verifiable evidence to confirm the authenticity of claims made. All nominations are subject to administrative screening and validation by the Peoples’ Choice Secretariat Panel. The Organiser reserves the right to reclassify nominations into the most appropriate categories to maintain consistency and fairness across the Programme. Submission of a nomination does not guarantee conferment, publication, or recognition of any kind.

Review & Conferment
All verified nominations will be reviewed by the Secretariat Panel, comprising independent members with relevant industry knowledge and professional experience. Evaluations are conducted based on authenticity, market reputation, customer trust, and sustained brand performance. The Panel’s decisions are final and binding, and no appeals or correspondence will be entertained. Each conferment is valid for one (1) year from the official announcement date, after which renewal is required to maintain active recognition status. The Organiser reserves the right to revoke or suspend any recognition should it discover fraudulent, unethical, or misleading conduct, whether before or after conferment.

Rights & Usage of the Title
Recipients of the Peoples’ Choice recognition are granted the right to use the official title, logo, plaque, and certificate for marketing and publicity purposes during the valid recognition period. Any unauthorised modification, imitation, or adaptation of official marks is strictly prohibited. The recognition is non-transferable and applies solely to the entity and category that have been conferred. Recipients are responsible for ensuring that all publicity and marketing materials accurately reflect their awarded category, year, and period of validity, in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Organiser.

Media Publication & Publicity
By participating in the Programme, all Recipients provide consent for their name, logo, images, and company details to be used by the Organiser in media releases, publicity materials, and promotional content associated with the Programme. The Organiser retains full editorial discretion over the design, content, and timing of all publications and announcements. The Organiser may publish details of recognised brands globally across print, digital, broadcast, and social media channels without seeking further approval from the Recipient. Any request for modification or removal of published content must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed at the Organiser’s sole discretion.

Awards Gala & Conferment Ceremonies
Attendance at the awards gala or conferment ceremonies is strictly by invitation or official registration. Recipients attending in person will receive their plaque and certificate during the ceremony. The Organiser reserves the right to modify the event’s format, venue, or schedule without prior notice in case of unforeseen circumstances. Travel, accommodation, and related expenses are the responsibility of participants unless otherwise stated. Tickets and tables purchased for the gala are non-refundable. The Organiser reserves the right to deny entry or remove any individual for inappropriate behaviour or violation of event regulations.

Fees & Payments

All fees must be paid in full prior to the stated deadline in order to confirm eligibility or attendance. Payments are non-refundable except in cases where an event is cancelled by the Organiser. The Organiser shall not be held liable for any currency conversion losses, bank charges, or third-party transaction fees incurred by participants during payment.

Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to the Peoples’ Choice name, logo, designs, and materials remain the exclusive property of Global Brand Awards Pte. Ltd. Recipients are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable licence to use the official recognition mark within the valid recognition period only. Any unauthorised reproduction, modification, or misuse of official materials or intellectual property shall result in immediate revocation of recognition and may subject the offending party to legal action under applicable laws.

Participants may request access to, correction of, or withdrawal of their data by submitting a written request to the Secretariat. Revocation may occur with or without refund depending on the severity of the breach. Entities that have been disqualified or revoked may be barred from re-entering the Programme for up to three (3) years or longer, as determined by the Organiser.

Limitation of Liability
All participation in the Programme, including attendance at events, is undertaken at the participant’s own risk. The Organiser shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from participation, conferment, or attendance. The Organiser makes no guarantee or warranty that recognition will result in increased sales, publicity, or commercial advantage. All recognition is awarded solely as a mark of public trust and excellence, and no further implications, benefits, or assurances are expressed or implied.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, and where applicable, the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
